Re: The U.S Army Saddle Scabbard

Thank you my friend. So I put the finishing touches on it today. As we speak I have some leather conditioner soaking in and the scabbard is stuffed with newspaper to keep it open. I will take one final picture before I send it off. On a side note this also continues a tradition that I started severa...

Re: The U.S Army Saddle Scabbard

Thank you my friend. For me the backstory of a piece is part of the fun. Without a little history it is just making something. With a story it comes to life for me as the maker.

The U.S Army Saddle Scabbard

I was asked by a friend to recreate a WWII motorcycle scabbard. This led me to research the history and types of scabbards that were common in the U.S. Army. Re: Footwear

Footwear

So I know many people love the Alden Indy boot. However, some may not want to pull the trigger on a $500 pair of boots, or perhaps it is just not your style. So, I am starting this thread so to put up some reviews of shoes/boots you might be wearing. I am going to start us off by reviewing the Danne...

Re: Fedoras in Films Not Involving A Bull Whip.

I didn’t really think about it from Blackthorn’s point of view, but that does put it in a different light. Now, all that aside, don’t get me wrong I did like the movie. The question for you guys is, did Joe die from his injuries? I say yes. He had to die or get the girl in the end.

Re: Fedoras in Films Not Involving A Bull Whip.

BTW, I finally got to see all of Tokyo Joe. I enjoyed it but I think the only thing I didn’t like was the lack of chemistry between Bogey and Florence Marly‘s character.
