Re: The Role-Playing Game Thread!

Apparently the image links broke on an earlier post so I had to fix them. Then I felt guilty that the thread was going a bit off topic so here's a gaming story to assuage my guilty conscience. I don't often do a TPK but this one was worthwhile. While living in Massachusetts, we met weekly with a bun...

Re: The Role-Playing Game Thread!

I love watching geek craftsmen at work. Black Magic Craft has a wonderful channel on youtube where he shows how he makes his walls and props. I use GURPS, not D&D which uses a hex-map instead of squares. There are pros and cons to both. I usually just draw out the walls, etc on the dry-erase map and...

Re: The Abstract Photo Thread!

That one I'm going to need help with. I tried using the reflection to help identify it but all that tells me is that it might be sideways.

Re: Today in History!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1307 - French King Philip IV has Grand Master Jacques de Molay and Knights Templar arrested and charged of idolatry and corruption. If I were a suspicious historian I would suggest that this had more to do with Philip IV being bankrupt and the Templars being very rich than any real corruption of id...

Re: Post Yourself & Your Hat Here!

That furnace looks like a brick-and-mortar version of a treehouse. Why build something like that on top of a chimney? Nice hat though. I'm gonna have to chase up a picture of my Penman. This is an old pic of Elaine wearing my daily wear; a cheap 'country gentleman' that normally has a hawk feather s...

Re: The Role-Playing Game Thread!

You know Baz, we might have to do some sort of online game at some point. I like the way you think and plan. :ugeek:
