I gotta say that I love when you've posted the in-progress pics of these costumes. You do good work and the results speak for themselves. Bravo zulu my friend. Well done.

Thank you my friend. It’s hard to believe how long it has been going on now. Every year I have tried to learn a new method, technique, or skill to increase the quality. I don’t know what may come next year, but I will certainly keep it going, at least a few more years.

Oh, those are all splendid!!!

Hard to choose my favorites, but Han Solo, Star Lord and Ash are definitely up there. I was actually considering Han Solo, but I would need to buy all the costume elements and I have none. Gives me a goal to strive for next Halloween.

Also, funny story about my Ash costume- I bought the shirt with every intention to tear it up, since I usually don't wear much blue- but my wife liked the shirt so much, she insisted I not destroy it- so I realized I should have bought two.

I suppose it's practical not to tear off the sleeve; some of the parties I go to end up outside, and it's a bit cold to be standing out there with one sleeve gone. :)

Thank you Herb!

You know when I put together Ash, two things happened first I bought the clothes, got them cheap, and I made him wear the shirt for about 2 months before I tore it up. But the funniest thing was he took so much ownership in it that he grew his hair for that time. It was hair product city for a time while he styled it every day.

One thing I always do in my builds is make sure that shoes and clothes can be worn for things other than the costume. It makes me feel the expense Is not a waste when they continue to wear things after costume goes in to mothballs.
