Blackthorn, those look really nice as well- I was at a Halloween party last week and a mother & her son also came in steampunk outfits, and the overall ensemble was simple yet elegant. Steampunk has a classy look to it.

Every year I have tried to learn a new method, technique, or skill to increase the quality. I don’t know what may come next year, but I will certainly keep it going, at least a few more years.
Thank you. We just discovered steampunk a couple of years ago and decided to see if we could make it work for this party. It was fun.Herb Roflcopter wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 3:25 pmBlackthorn, those look really nice as well- I was at a Halloween party last week and a mother & her son also came in steampunk outfits, and the overall ensemble was simple yet elegant. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you also do a kick-ass Doc Ock costume some years back with dryer vent tubes serving as the arms? I'm dredging up an ancient memory here, and I could've sworn the pic was posted on the old FC board.

Blackthorn, you reminded me of the balloon pilot in the Mummy Returns.
