I partially agree with Cousi, that resembles the Pennsylvania shale/slate driveways of my youth.

I'm thinking either the bottom of an aquarium or slate rocks for a driveway.
Yeah, close enough- it was an area of lawn near a driveway where there would normally be grass- the owners decided rocks would be better.

Speaking of other states, this pic was taken in Missouri- the sidewalks at Johnson's Shut-In State Park are paved in this manner:

Mmm...cold-rolled and bar stock.

I think Dillo's on target with this one. I love how you find art in everything, even mundane stuff.

Dillo is definitely on target! Just more metal on the shelves at work.

Here's something completely different:

(Thanks for the compliments, by the way.) :)

Early footage of the Death Star flying over a water planet.

Just kidding - looks like a dog toy in a pool taken from under the water.

If Cousi is right they better do something about that huge vent on the Death Star. That could be trouble. :)

I think it is something underwater but I'm not sure it's a dog toy. Maybe a pool chemical dispenser? I don't know. I don't own a pool and the only chemical I regularly dispense is ethyl alcohol and only in moderation.

Been meaning to get back to this thread; it's been a busy few days!

Yes, it's a toy floating in the water... but it's a BEAR toy! It was taken at the Detroit Zoo back in 2014.

A bear toy.

...

Zoos are kind of weird. I mean, it makes sense when you think about it but just the concept of 'bear toy'. Then thinking there is some company out there that makes 'bear toys' and possibly 'tiger toys' or 'elephant toys' just is weird to think about.

Then again, there are companies out there that make blow-up girlfriends so maybe I should be saying "people are weird".

For some reason I have this image of aliens capturing some random humans and keeping them in cages, while giving them blow-up dolls for amusement. The humans don't seem to mind too much.
