I'm tempted to say,"That's no planet, its a space station". :)

From what I've read this planet is especially interesting because some scientists believe that it is actually on the cusp between a planet and a brown dwarf. This doesn't sound impressive but if it can be studied it could give valuable information on the magnetic evolution of planets and stars.

That would be a very cool thing to learn.

Yes, especially interesting in light of some theories about the future of our own planet's magnetic field.
