We have the technology to make vehicles with class and character like that Rolls but we lack the imagination and creativity. It's a shame, really.

Agreed! There are practical reasons for this of course most of which have to do with the bottom line. However I think you nailed it when you pointed out "Lack of imagination". I think we are in an age of conformity and control where a person MUST think, believe, behave, dress, eat, live and learn in a PC prescribed way. Look at our entertainment, same thing rebooted, remade, copied. Oh well, at least we'll always have fedoras and attitude.
