Joan of Arc is one of those historical figures that has reached mythic proportions. I am completely fascinated by her. Regardless of if you believe she actually spoke with God or not, you cannot denigrate what she accomplished in her very short life.1429 - The English siege of Orleans was broken by French forces led by Joan of Arc.
Even if one of her main supporters ended up being a pedophile satanist serial killer.

She is fascinating and had an incredible for the time understand of the use of massed infantry and artillery. If memory serves she planned 12 or 13 major battles and won 8 of them which is a pretty good average. She never actually took part in the battles but did accompany her troops close enough to have been wounded by arrows twice, I believe.
